Sleepyheads

Aoife had trouble falling asleep in her crib last night, so Jim thought she should sleep on our bed. We all laid down on the bed, and Aoife and Jim quickly fell asleep.

A trip to the pediatrician's office

Aoife had another great checkup today. She is now 32.56 inches tall (up from 30.3 inches) and weighs in at 26 pounds, 5 ounces (up from 24 pounds, 3 ounces). She's still in the 95th percentile for weight and height, and at the 57th percentile for head circumference, at 45 centimeters.

She's doing great developmentally, and she took her DTaP shot like a little champ, only being mildly annoyed by it. Yay Aoife!

I-LABS Study

Today Aoife participated in a UW Study on infant emotional behavior (you can read about the study here: I-LABS Study. Her participation in the study was a bit different from the video in the link, as she is in the "neutral" group, not the "angry" group.

She enjoyed her time at the center, and we had a hard time leaving because there were so many toys for her to play with in the waiting area!

My little cookie monster

Aoife learned the sign and word cookie - it's now BY FAR her most favorite word/concept.  And tonight I document my attempts to capture her saying and signing it on video

Bathtime!

Aoife made some great faces last night during bathtime, so I thought I would share the photos.

A (not so quick) catch up post

My apologies for not updating the blog, I've been dealing with some health issues (short story - I'm okay).

Aoife is doing GREAT! She says and signs "cookie" and "bye." She also says "thank you!"  We're so proud of her!

Here are some photos of Aoife from the past couple weeks!
