Summer is off to a great start!

It's another hot day in Seattle, so we made an early trip to the park (Aoife got a new pail and shovel!). Aoife met another girl her age and they instantly hit it off. They were chasing each other and giggling everywhere. We then came home and Aoife enjoyed her first ice-pop. After lunch, we blew bubbles on the deck, and then had some "uppy time" when Aoife fell asleep.

Saturday morning in the park

The three of us went to the park Saturday morning. Of course, Aoife had a great time. We are so excited for the summer!

A jam-packed day!

Holy smokes, Aoife and I had a very busy day.  This morning, we went to join some of her friends from daycare at the Seattle Symphony for the latest Tiny Tots concert. We also enjoyed riding the light rail to and from the event (Aoife loves trains). After the concert, I picked up some groceries on our way home, and Aoife tried her first donut (to my knowledge). It is National Donut Day, after all.

Aoife fell asleep on our way home, and I enjoyed some time to myself while she napped.  Once she woke up, we were off to the park! After a bit over an hour, I was able to take Aoife home. It was a great day!
