A busy Thursday morning

This morning Aoife and  I went to the UW Institute for Learning and Brain Studies so that she could participate in some research on causal learning. She had fun watching how one toy (green) frequently dispensed a marble (which she could then send on a Rube Goldberg-type device) and another toy (yellow) dispensed the marble rarely (she could still send it down the device). She was then give the choice of toy to play with several times, and she chose the green toy three out of four times, and squealed with delight when it dispensed the marble and she got to send it down the device.

After our time at the UW, we went to Volunteer Park to play in the wading pool. All in all, it was a great morning!

When Daddy is away. . .

I take photo of Aoife when Jim is on business trips, so he can see how his little girl is doing. Here are a few from his latest trip.

Monday morning in the park

Jim went to Spokane today, so I had extra Aoife time (yay!). We had a great time at the park.

Stickers!

It was a cold, wet, rainy weekend so Jim and I picked up some things for Aoife to do inside. She really, really liked her "Frozen" stickers.
Jim meant to take a video, but accidentally recorded a time-lapse photo.

Ice Cream!

Aoife enjoyed an ice cream cone Friday.
