Sunday in the park

Aoife, Jim and I headed out for a quick trip to the park on Sunday. We played with a ball, ran around, and then Aoife ran ahead into some mud. And fell. And landed on her adorable little face.

She lifted her muddy little face and cried. Jim and I wiped it off with what little we had (we didn't prepare, thinking it would be a quick trip). I then took her to the bathroom to wash her face. We walked home, me feeling guilty, and Aoife quietly napping.

Mommy-Aoife Thursday is off to a great start!

Aoife and I are having a great day together. We played around a bit inside, and then headed out for a walk to the grocery store and then the park. Even though is was (lightly) raining, we had a great time. Aoife loved walking around and feeling the rain on her face!

A quick trip to Idaho

Over the long weekend, Aoife and I made a quick trip to Idaho. She saw her Grandpa and Grandma Groom, her Uncle Cory, and distant cousins. She was a bit under the weather, but it was great to see everyone!
