On Monday, we decided to avoid the crowds and head for the zoo. Aoife preferred to play at the zoomazium over seeing the animals in the zoo.

Christmas morning
Aoife woke to room full of presents, mostly for her. I love watching Christmas through the eyes of a three-year old.
Waiting for Santa
Aoife and Daddy finished her advent calendar and read from "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" at bedtime, waiting for Santa. She was out by 7:10 p.m. last night!
Santa's cookie
Aoife and Grandma Barbara made a special giant gingerbread man for Santa to eat while he delivered the toys.
Building Santa's workshop
In anticipation of Christmas, Aoife built Santa's workshop with her Duplo bricks. She is quite proud of her skills, and so are we.
